The Tanglaw Group composed of twenty-five (25) high school and college students conducted another community outreach in partnership with IGFI for the senior citizens of Sto. Tomas, Batangas on February 9, 2019.
At least forty three (43) indigent senior citizens enjoyed the fun- filled activity such as games, snacks-making and cap painting. Life sharing with the elderly was as well done and the group provided grocery packs to each senior citizen.
On February 22, 2019, Fujimolds Phils., a locator from LISP III, also initiated a community outreach with forty-four (44) special education students (i.e. primary students with special needs and disabilities) of North Central School in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Apart from facilitating some engaging activities, they had also given out hygiene kits to each student and provided snacks for both students and teachers.
As expressed by the President of Fujimold, Mr. Minoru Tanaka in his closing notes, he committed to do more community outreach such as this as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in partnership with IGFI.
